Route Map To Web Design

Web Designing involves a lots of technologies. I am first listing the technologies involved then I'll elaborate the ways you can learn them.

• HTML [Very Easy to learn, it's newest version is HTML 5]
• CSS [It's all about designing the contents in a web page, CSS3 is the newest]
• JavaScript
• jQuery [You can skip the extensive JavaScript and start jQuery]
• PHP [Mainly used for the back-end, being familiar with PHP will help you a lot]
• AJAX
• Photoshop [Most Important Tool for making your Designs

•  At the initial stage you'll need books, they are important. There are lots and lots of book on these topics but since you're beginner, I'll prefer you to read these books-
  
• Html 5 Foundations -
  
  [Trust me, you'll not find any other beginner book better than this, from my personal experience]
  
  
  
  
  
• CSS3 Foundations -
  
  
  Now it's time to make something for yourself.
  
  Here's how I did it -
  

  1. Start with HTML/CSS
  2. yeah, its looking good, now I must apply some effects and animations, then go to CSS3 and basic JavaScript and full jQuery.
  3. Then add facilities like Login/Register, Contact forms and all and for this you'll need PHP. So start learning that.

  
  Learning by doing is the best thing either you be in any field.
  Now it's time to make something for yourself.
  Now start with JavaScript and jQuery.
• • JavaScript and jQuery will cover sufficient amount of learning material for AJAX to a web Designer.
    

  Note: Always keep an eye on several YouTube videos whenever you feel that you're stuck.
  
  Now about Photoshop, It'll help you to visualize your idea and modify it
